Performer applications have now closed and we thank all the people who have enquired and submitted applications over the past few months.
Applications will open again in April 2017 so stay tuned and please submit an application.
Shows and stages
The events in the months leading up to the festival will be programmed by the committee from applications we receive and other acts we know. On the main festival dates there are up to 5 stages running at once, all with slightly different musical flavours as well as workshops, some roving entertainment and buskers as well. We aim to create a balance of community music, hobbyists and professional musicians across all cultural, economic and age groups.
Music Variety is key for us
For a rich inclusive blend we feel a broad variety of styles and genres is healthy and necessary, so we will look at applications from all kinds of music groups, regardless of skill level, age or style of music. In the past we have hosted folk, blues, rock, swing, jazz, country, choral, orchestral, percussive, electronica, dance fusion, African, Balkan, Spanish, charting soul bands, rollicking dance bands and others too numerous and niche to mention! If you make music as a soloist or in a group I encourage you to apply to the festival. While we are quite a small festival, we like to think big in many ways.
